A colorful aerostatic hot air balloon seen from below sits against a deep blue, starry background. The design is vibrant with red, white, and blue segments, surrounded by scattered small yellow and white accents.
This is based on a couple of lino cut prints, acrylic paint and gold ink. I have rediscovered my love of lino cut printing after many years and hope to do much more of it.

Today was the end of first semester, a bit hard to believe half the year is gone, a bit hard to believe we still have half of a year left. The past 24 hours have been nothing less than mental chaos (maybe my coach was foreshadowing all of this when he asked if I was ok last night...) Anyway, here I am, here we are. Ive been so occupied with myself that im so way behind with everything (including drawing)ive been practicing animating too.I don't stylize my OCS at all because I have no idea why.I was inspired by the bratz to draw adely like this (big head small body big eyes and big feet)might change her pose and draw nelsy (new name) next to her.
The Nornwan: World Of Wonder series has always had Adventure Time at its inspired heart. I just figured I'd finally make this and practice a little imitation of one of my favorite art styles, tell you the truth, I used to hate Adventure Time, I used to think it was too simple, and even dumb, but after a few years and a little convincing, I got into it. And I've had a happier life ever since. Thank you.
This mixed media piece is what I call a Monday to Monday piece. At the start of each week while working on other pieces I often times have left over paint or want to see how something works out before I put it on the main piece I’m working on so I use a piece of heavy weight paper to test all that on and just keep adding to it through out the week. It also gives me a space to just make whatever I want if I need a break from the main pieces I’m working on.
Wow it's been 10 days already I'm very much impressed with myself for keeping this up. I had an American dad marathon and saw a butterfly in one of the episodes and the drawing prompt I've been using said to draw a snowglobe so i combined the two together.
This was for an art submission over at MightCould Studios, link in my bio. This week they asked us to draw a Sanrio character and I chose the frog Kerropi, hopefully thats spelled right.
