When Rebelle 3 by Escape Motions came out I wanted to create something that really shows off its power. I normally draw in fountain pen first, but this was created entirely from scratch in Rebelle 3. Digital art tends to be cold and impersonal, but Rebelle's watercolor simulation looks & feels like real paint... and you can undo! That's critical for illustration work, as clients often request changes... But even for personal work- it means an artist can achieve a watercolor look without being at the mercy of the medium. So the result is more true to his or her vision.

It got cold very quickly and the fog was there, moving thickly around us, shutting us in on all sides. The smooth swell rolled out of the fog, crawled under the raft with a swallowing movement and rolled back into the fog the other side. .... I painted this scene after passing so many bridges, i was wondering how the people from below might see us when the train is crossing the bridge. I was or still am about putting this character on my DA. This is Echo, she is very dear to me. I started her over a year ago and have been working on her design. She belongs to me all rights are mine, she is mine. I wanted to share her with the world. I have another picture I'm working on at the moment. I'm trying hard to work on body types and background images.

#20 Cartoon Doodles - I have been in the mood to draw simple cartoons characters lately. Of course I don’t like to copy the original artist’s style. I prefer to change it up a little. Half of this was drawn on magma(dot)com, the other half was drawn in ibis paint (iPad pro). No Ai garbage used!

" The snap of inky sails catching the wind punctuated the subtle wooden creaks of the Sea Nettle as it slid over glossy black waves. The night was oppressive. With the moon obscured by clouds, the ship, with its doused lamps and its dark wood was nearly invisible as she crept closer to her prize. Tallis stood on the forecastle, one foot propped against the railing, his hands supporting a spyglass. He drifted the lens between the lights below deck, counting each of them and making note of any movement on the upper deck and in the rigging. A single sailor was at the helm. Another was lazily standing beside him, possibly engaged in conversation that distracted him from his watch. This was to be expected, not many would dare to disturb such a well-equipped vessel of the Luthen royal fleet. Nettie's crew was lesser in numbers, but they were experts in what few on the high seas could manage. Tonight, would be a quiet strike. Open combat spelled unnecessary danger for his crew."

One day I was flipping through Frrank frazetta art book I had and one of his painting inspired me, so I close the book and started to draw and this image came about. I have dragged this typewriter around for more than 50 years. I found it in an antique store when I was in college. It's still fully useable, except that it's REALLY hard to find ribbons. Basically, it's just another object to dust. But it is a beautifully made object. The basic shapes and perspective were blocked in with a 2H pencil, then I used a Sakura 005 micron pen to do the contour drawing.

This started as a pencil drawing (see the 2nd image) that I scanned and put into Photoshop. I tried various filters including: Smudge, Ink Outline, some Splatter, changed the Exposure and added a Sepia Photo Filter. After a couple of hours of playing (I’m not very knowledgeable about digital possibilities and just use trial and error) I ended up with a dramatic image with which I am quite happy. The reference was a magazine advertisement.

To me,drawing muscular bodies isn't simple (I wish it was)so I had to use a reference (of course, nothing wrong with that!)it was really difficult coloring however was fun!the old sketch I drew is from 2019 I was literally 17,I drew him with a really long neck.What inspired me would surprise anyone;A Disney Prince but I don't remember which one.Dezeo like most incubuses lust after women and take every bit of their energy.Dezeo however becomes fascinated with adult Glenice (probably of her red hair)and becomes obsessed with her,he is relaxed and less volatile than Malvada The Succubus.which makes him a less dangerous foe but still a threat.Dezeo is defeated after 3 days and is banished to hell by Gerard

The carriage is actually from a reference photo of a old hearse from way back so I thought that was really cool. Created with Black ink, Charcoal Powder Graphite Powder and a Kneaded eraser.

This is an adorable picture of a panda giving another panda a giant bouquet of flowers. The drawing was sketched with pencil, outlined with glitter pens, and mostly filled in with brush pens. Some details were filled in with the glitter pens also. Getting the flowers to look nice was not easy, but I think I just got away with it. Hope you enjoy the cute pair.
