I don't mess with oceans. One time, I just wanted to cool off on the edge. The undertow was so strong that I got trapped, knee-deep from the shore. Nothing I could do but just wait for the giant wave to pile-drive me into the beach. So much sand crack.

An animatronic especially designed for a particular individual to climb into it, only for them to get impaled by a variety of steel bits. However, this particular individual was never captured, for their execution was performed only several days after the finishing of this product... so it sits, motionless, in the unused areas of Ringmaster's Pizza Hall. Some more stylized withered versions of the Altitone band members, Elizabeth (on the left) and Altor (on the right). Elizabeth has ears but no cameras (which are usually located somewhere on the head (look at stylized withered Preistor for context)), so she is blind. Altor has no ears but a camera (which has been broken off and now sits loose in Altor's disembodied head), so he's deaf. Before version 2 of these guys, Preistor was maroon (once again, look at stylized withered Preistor for context), Elizabeth was teal, and Altor was yellow-green (mostly yellow). Here are the two tall animatronics. Jester (the one on the left) and Dellusion (the one on the right). They run a pizzaria. Jester and Dellusion are both sentient, but the others aren't. I'm still working on a final version of the shorter animatronics. But for now, have these two! I'm still trying to find a satisfying color palette for Dellusion, so if you have any ideas, let me know! Throwback to October when CPS was on strike and I had extra time to carve pumpkins. This is one of two I carved, both based off original sketches. I don't own any fancy tools, so I created this using a knife, peeler, zester, and some sandpaper.
This painting was developed from a photo shoot at Presquile Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada. The bobcats were designed and posed by myself. The details of the fur were from research.

This was a hard one to draw. The Overbearing mothers was suggested and then I added the Absent fathers.

Believe it or not, Jester has been around for at least 3 years, way before I made this account! His original design was actually supposed to be organic, not an actual robot. Very neat.

2015 - I wanted to try watercolor painting in a more realistic way, but this is as realistic as it can get. Sadly, I chose to ignore the nose part, in my fear of ruining everything. Although, I must say, I was happy and proud of the outcome of this attempt. ❤️
(I had gotten some new fine-point pens last week, and I figured this was a good way to test them out.) Two very different things have been on my mind lately, maybe there's a connection? I think it's interesting how it's taken me 4 years to figure something out, become comfortable enough to open up to others about it, and then embrace it. Yet it's like living a double life, being authentic to some and keeping secrets from others. On the other hand, to the person receiving this drawing, I know I can't do anything to change the situation even though I wish I could. All I can say is I'm forever grateful for all you do, and I truly hope you decide to take advantage of all the opportunities coming your way.
I started messing about with line and wash. I really enjoyed the speed and looseness of working on this piece. In hindsight, I'm wondering if it would be worth working on a larger, more considered version as there is quite a lot of nice texture that is missing here. Pen & watercolour on watercolour paper (4x6").
my first ever piece of art i sold was this piece, i think around 2012 when i started going into more illustrative based work. its great to look back and see the progression and level i have progressed. i remember thinking this was the best i could do but now if i did something on the same level i wouldnt be so happy. i got a lot of good feedback off this piece and do plan on recreating it one day :))...
I finally finished this piece for my Aunt. It was based on a goofy picture she sent me. I am pleased with the depth I achieved and can see improvements. I am not most experienced with portraits or anatomy/characters.
My mother actually used to say this to me and my brothers when we asked her to do something while she was in the midst of doing something else...Magic marker, then worked in Photoshop.
When I was planning this pattern I really wanted it to have a dark background. I built it in photoshop using hand drawn marker flowers but when I try to place them on a dark background it looks ridiculous!
