All the pages in the book are blank. Every single one. The woman takes the book back to the store, but the manager won’t let her return it. Right there on the cover, the manager says, This book has no words and is non-returnable."

I wanted to see how far I get if I work on a single drawing for a day. Didn't bother myself with perfect shadowing or symmetry though... I'm going to burn through those nibs real fast drawing hair like this. :)
Hey everyone! This is an interactive website I did for my BFA thesis this year. The piece explores the struggles I’ve faced as a black, lesbian woman. This piece features events that happened when I was in an unhealthy relationship in high school, from late-2016 to mid-2017. The work combines CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML with digitized images that I drew on paper, using black colored pencil. I'd really appreciate some feedback and critique for this work. Can you imagine being the first African-American woman doctor in the United States back in the 1800s? We can’t fathom it either! That’s what Dr. Rebecca Lee Crumpler had to deal with, and we can’t salute her more for that feat!
