Monster Mug

The first stage of clay is slip. Slip is watery clay; it is most often used to "slip and score", which I used to attach the features of the mug to the mug itself. The second stage of clay is wet. Wet is moist, very plastic clay. Wet is the type of clay I love to use, just because it feels so fresh, and because it is moist enough that I don't have to soften it with water. The third stage of clay is leather hard. Leather hard is the stage my mug was in after being left on the shelf for twenty-four hours or so. It is easier to cut but very difficult to sculpt. The fourth stage of clay is greenware. Greenware is completely dry clay that is fragile and breakable. I would say that greenware is an overdose of leather hard for the clay. In other words, leaving clay out for a longer amount of time can turn leather hard clay into greenware. The fifth stage of clay is bisque. This is the clay after its first firing. If it was grey clay, it is now white in this stage. It is now completely hard and no longer soft in any way. Bisque, luckily, is only one stage away from glaze... The sixth stage of clay is glaze. This is the final firing and results in a smooth texture and a shiny look. I loved the way my glaze came out. While I was painting the mug, it was more of a ruddy red-brown but when it glazed, it turned out to be this beautiful spotted green.

Jonathan Crane x OC

"People have such a vast range of phobias with complex names, but at the same time, our brain does everything it can to protect us from madness, and so we fear far less than we should. Ironic, isn't it, doctor?" In the Nolanverse, Annie is, of course, very different from my base version, but she's still the same dedicated writer, always searching for interesting stories and "main characters" for them. Unfortunately, Jonathan was done dirty in Nolan's version. :'D He once sprayed Batman with a toxin (which led to Lucius Fox developing a vaccine), and then he kept getting clobbered, either with his fists or with a stun gun. Annie and Joker are not acquainted in this ver yet. But still, he created the fear toxin! Such potential! Annie decided he needs her guidance (no consent needed). In other words: she will chew him mercilessly. ( ̄^ ̄)ゞ

Why I Trust CRYPTO RECOVERY CONSULTANT With My Digital Future

As a former intelligence officer, I thought I knew everything about security. My job was all about protecting classified information, so when it came to my Bitcoin wallet, I went all in. I created a password so complex, it was virtually unbreakable. At first, I laughed it off surely I’d remember eventually. But try after try, nothing worked. That’s when the horror set in. I had locked myself out of my own wallet. My $1 million was sitting there, completely untouched… and completely unreachable. I felt embarrassed, frustrated, and desperate. That’s when I came across *CRYPTO RECOVERY CONSULTANT*. Honestly, I didn’t have high hopes. I assumed I was out of luck. But from the moment we spoke, they treated my case seriously like a high level op. No judgment, just focus and professionalism. They explained their method clearly and assured me it wouldn’t risk my funds. It wasn’t fast or easy there were delays and doubts but they stayed committed. And finally, they did it. They recovered my wallet. The relief I felt was beyond words. It wasn’t just about the money it was about redemption. I hadn’t lost everything after all. The biggest lesson? Sometimes, simple is smarter. I had tried to outsmart potential threats and ended up being the threat myself. Security doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective. If you ever find yourself locked out, don’t give up. I trusted CRYPTO RECOVERY CONSULTANT, and they brought me back from the brink. For that, I’ll always be grateful.WhatsApp: +19842580430 cryptorecoveryconsultant :@: cash4u com

Louise Bourgeois

Louise Bourgeois (1911–2010) “My life has been regulated by insomnia,” Bourgeois told an interviewer in 1993. “It’s something that I have never been able to understand, but I accept it.” Bourgeois learned to use these sleepless hours productively, propped up in bed with her “drawing diary,” listening to music or the hum of traffic on the streets. “Each day is new, so each drawing—with words written on the back—lets me know how I’m doing,” she said. “I now have 110 drawing-diary pages, but I’ll probably destroy some. - From Daily Rituals: How Artists Work by Mason Currey “I am not what I am, I am what I do with my hands...” ― Louise Bourgeois “Every day you have to abandon your past or accept it, and then, if you cannot accept it, you become a sculptor.” ― Louise Bourgeois #dailyrituals #inktober #LouiseBourgeois @masoncurrey

Challenges in Communication

We often have the habit of hearing something or seeing something and then believing that we understand what we just witnessed. This latter sentiment is not always the case. Thoughts, ideas, concepts, philosophies - simple, great, complicated, deep: they all present challenges to our faculties of perception. We struggle to understand one another, often without considering these challenges though they are certainly there. We also struggle to communicate those things to others, and sometimes even to ourselves.

Sutra

Whether the script in the background is an actual sutra is not the concern, even if it is, would it be readable to most? I question the use of lines in Calligraphy. Without the recognition of the exact words or meaning, can we still appreciate the quality and skills involved? Armed with a Chinese writing foundation, I adapted the use of the eight strokes (the basis of construction to Chinese character). The `writings’ resembles Chinese/Japanese writings but in fact, they are not. I needed a texture. With language as a symbol of culture, by visually adapting these kind of lines endears us to the image.

God Provides

God Provides Mural: acrylic paint on Stretched canvas. Size: H 30 “x 40” w 1” D In this mural I seek to illustrate How God through Jesus provide for the spiritual needs of humans. The first century fishing boat with its nets stretch out to dry on the shore, Jesus calls us to leave our old live behind and join Him on a new adventure. Just as he calls his disciples to leave their lives of fishing and join Him in bring people back to God. The illustration of a boy lunch in a desolate place, we are reminded that God know our physical as well spiritual needs. If we seek to put him first in our lives, He will take care of the rest. Jesus and Peter walking on the rage ocean, God call us to weather many great storms, to be able to participate in rescuing of the spiritually drawing. We always need to be reminded to keep our eye on Christ unless we become filled with fear and we become overwhelmed by our hostel environment and being to sink. Jesus on the cross, God knowing no sin, sent His son to be a sacrifice, the innocent trading place with a vile criminal to face a horrible death on the cross. We can all identify with Barabbas, for because of our sinful words and deeds, we ourselves are criminals before a Holy God. If we identify with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection from the dead, for the payment of our transgression. This is the only way to be forgiven and washed clean of our sinful past. We have been given the holy spirit to enable us to turn from sin and walk in the newness of life through His word and spirit. The rock with ALPA and OMEGA and Irish flower carved in it: represent Our eternal God who existed in the eternal past and will exist in the enteral future. The rock with dove facing down, represent the coming of Holy Spirit who Jesus sent, after He went back to Heaven. He came to teach us all truth about spiritual things, about God, to give us understand of His words, and to strength our bodies, minds, spirits to enable us to do the will of God. The rock with fish symbol: Represents the sign first century Christian would draw on the ground to test a person to find out if they were a true follower of Christ or if they were a spy, trying to expose were the Christians met for church. So, the Roman could arrest and kill Christians. How the test was administered: The initiator would drawl half the body of the fish in the grown, then the person being evaluated, if they were a Christian would know to draw the second half of the fish. San Juan Diego

Happy Feast day of Saint Juan Diego everyone! The Visionary of Our Lady of Guadalupe, our celestial Mamma! The little virgin (Virgencita), our lady, called Juan Diego the Littlest of her sons! The Humblest in other words. Can you imagine now the sanctity of San Juan Diego?! Wow! And to convert so many through these apparitions just speaks for itself! Culturally I also love these devotions because I'm part mexican and native american. It's so awesome how our lady embraces our culture and shows herself a true mother. LONELINESS AND SPACE

I chose to build on the liminality of the door and its status in the imagination as a link between two worlds or identities. In this section I am using the fibres of gloves to create different forms of hands and transparent boxes to represent the idea of space. Through my art I try to express the limited space in which I live, thus focusing on the sense of self that is to be achieved by isolating one's cognitive processes through dialogue with space. The relationship between solitude and space is a subjective process of self-consciousness that involves the absence of social attributes and interaction with others. In other words, it is a non-objective state of space in which the self can find expression. Loneliness therefore manifests itself in a reluctance to approach groups.

The Finding of Jesus in the Temple

The Fifth and final Joyful Mystery: The Finding of Jesus in the Temple. Young Jesus is so cool, can you just immagine all the wisdom and grace pouring out of him at Nazareth? "That kid is amazing!" the temple elders and priests probably said but they had no idea how amazing he actually is, because he's God! Super power packed! lol Luke Chapter 2: 40-52 40 And the child grew, and waxed strong, full of wisdom; and the grace of God was in him. 41 And his parents went every year to Jerusalem, at the solemn day of the pasch, 42 And when he was twelve years old, they going up into Jerusalem, according to the custom of the feast, 43 And having fulfilled the days, when they returned, the child Jesus remained in Jerusalem; and his parents knew it not. 44 And thinking that he was in the company, they came a day's journey, and sought him among their kinsfolks and acquaintance. 45 And not finding him, they returned into Jerusalem, seeking him. 46 And it came to pass, that, after three days, they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, hearing them, and asking them questions. 47 And all that heard him were astonished at his wisdom and his answers. 48 And seeing him, they wondered. And his mother said to him: Son, why hast thou done so to us? behold thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49 And he said to them: How is it that you sought me? did you not know, that I must be about my father's business? 50 And they understood not the word that he spoke unto them. 51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them. And his mother kept all these words in her heart. 52 And Jesus advanced in wisdom, and age, and grace with God and men.
