Vine Charcoal and Oil Pastel make for a messy, smudgy experience. A certain amount of messiness can make a process feel more real and human. When things aren’t perfectly polished, it reflects a genuine effort, imperfections, and growth. In personal life, letting go of the need for everything to be tidy can promote a more authentic existence. The hat is a Stormy Chromer. It also evolved out of a mess. More on that later. Peace.
I got a little emotional when I heard the Lahaina banyan tree would make it through the Maui fire. I found a reference and painted a watercolor of the new growth. These ruins captured my drawing itch with the quality of the light filtering brilliantly through the tangled growth outside, and the open shade within. At a metaphorical level, the image is about the sense of having a laborious path set in stone for me by custom, convention, and culture, while way is wide open to the chaotic fertility of nature, should I choose to follow my own feet and heart.

Since I remember myself I was painting, this was always part of me. It wasn’t be me without painting. But I have paved a long way to where I am now - today I paint every day by teaching people and open their eyes to the amazing world around and within them. I started drawing black and white graphics, but since than I evolved my style by adding colors. Now I have found a combination that can express best what I want to see and feel.
I am director of a painting and creation studio "The Magic of the Brush" in the growth of the network of experience in Carmiel. I was born into a family of architects and artists, painting and a passion for art have fascinated me all my life, I started with black and white graphics like a forest of books and slowly rolled into color painting. The creation of all work makes me alive - I feel, I think, I understand.
I believe that art is a way of life. I Want to bring it to as many people as possible in order to make our world a better place.
