A pair of Ukrainian Easter eggs I've made. My designs are not especially traditional and are instead inspired by old wood cut art. The first egg features a musician playing a bandura and the second has 4 pictures, fish, forest, wheat and mountains. The eggs are made using beeswax applied with a metal tool called a Kistka (heated via a candle or electricity) you draw on the egg wherever you want to preserve its current colour before putting it into a dye bath working from the lightest colours to the darkest. When you have finished you remove the wax using a candle a paper towel and a little patience. heating and wiping away. then you can blow out your egg by making a hole in its top and bottom, smashing the yolk with a needle and blowing. These eggs are a couple of years old but we've pulled them out for easter last weekend.
I'm hoping to finish off this children's book this year. It's a lot of work. Too many illustrations - so many the printing cost will jump, so I might have to find a publisher for this one, rather than self-publish. This is acrylic on paper.
https://joyofsatan.org/www.angelfire.com/empire/serpentis666/Astaroth.html The ancestral Goddess of my ancestors the Canaanites and Phonecians. She has been well known to many ancient civilizations by many names and has been with humanity among Many other Gods since the dawn of humankind. Many disgusting lies have been spread about her as well as many other of our ancient Gods. The false christian holiday Easter in particular was a spin off of the actual pagan holiday Ostara or the spring equinox, and is antithetical to Lady Astarte in every way who symbolizes the ultimate feminine beauty, fertility, kindness and new life, where as the sacrifice of the fictitious christ figure is a symbol of a literal human sacrifice, something the bible is rife with. Learn the truth today and return to your origins. Our true Gods predate abrahamic filth by thousands of years. All the disgusting lies the bible tells about the pagan Gods are false. This is the amazing work i dedicated to my guardian with his sigil. He has always been there for me and helped me, and often tells me dates that turn out to be accurate for something that ends up coming along or manifesting. I will never forget the first time he came to me in a dream. People who follow mainstream religion and its themes about Demons is false and are told nothing but lies. Demons are actually very beautiful helpful and benevolent beings. Joyofsatan.org Exposingchristianity.com
Hey everyone! This is an interactive website I did for my BFA thesis this year. The piece explores the struggles I’ve faced as a black, lesbian woman. This piece features events that happened when I was in an unhealthy relationship in high school, from late-2016 to mid-2017. The work combines CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML with digitized images that I drew on paper, using black colored pencil. I'd really appreciate some feedback and critique for this work. It's best viewed on laptops or monitors, using Chrome or Microsoft edge. It does weird things with Safari. Thanks :). Here's the site link: https://artportfolio.bgsu.edu/~kiraw/
After completing “Moody Pumpkins” the foreground looked interesting so I removed the pumpkins modified the remaining foreground and added the trees and sky. Tree colors were selected from the foreground and other palettes.
He stares at the small square black device. The red led in it keeps blinking simultaneously with the beep and, except for one small button, Neal sees no other modules.
“…This is weird,” he says aloud.
When Satchmo makes another louder puff, Neal decides to go ahead with his friend’s advice and press the button.
In the style of Lucien Freud, this little painting didn't take long, but was fun and an accurate representation of the model. Plus size models are often just as interesting as many of the thinner models we got in drawing sessions. Beauty exists for different people in different ways. Character is certainly a big aspect.
Done mostly with oil bar, this is more akin to a sketch than a painting. It's great when you can get loose with the process and end up with something that looks like a finished work.
