Drawing Challenge

Inside Your Mind Drawing Challenge

It seems that with each passing year we as a collective all become a bit more introspective and understanding of the complex place that is our minds. Looking inward can be hard, but our minds are where we spend the majority of our time and its landscape can determine our lives. To us, one of the most beautiful things about the human experience is how different, yet similar, we are and that’s why we’re challenging you to show us what it would be like to step inside your mind for a day.

Whether you choose to depict how you think it looks, how it feels, or how it makes you feel on any given day - we just want you to look a little deeper at the place your thoughts call home.

I decided the best way to display what's inside my mind was to just let it do its thing. So this is what it came up with!

Inside My Mind I often try to cut off the "noise" of the outside world. That helps me to regroup my thoughts and face whatever comes my way with positive attitude. Thank you for the Challenge

I believe my mind looks something like a night sky. Stars dance around in the subconscious, previously having been tightly strewn together to form memories, which are in the front of my mind, stowed away until the next time I need to look back on them.

this picture is the best representation I could do to show how I picture my mind. It's not exact but it's the best I could do. I imagined there are a bunch of little me's in my head and they all do something different. I especially like the creative ones like art and music. I worked hard and long on this. hope you like it! :3

In French, we have an expression to say that we are dreaming while our eyes are open. It's "having the head into clouds". It's me all the time! I like long reflexions about things. Then, I want to show the little clouds manufacture in my head!

Home made comfort foods, created from scratch like a gooey chocolate sundae, can magically calm the mind both in the making and the partaking of it. As contrary as this may sound, I’m declaring that ice cream sundaes are an all-season sort of food: delightful to savor from summer to spring, without skipping seasons.

I feel like this piece captures aspects of not only things that I enjoy (mountains, sunsets, stars, plants), but also shows a more complex view of myself with the plant, rooted in the things that I enjoy but also reaching towards the horizon as I strive towards different goals

I've always been intrigued by the connection between the emotional and physical body. Thoughts alone can provoke an extremely strong emotional response which then have the potential to elicit very real physical reactions. Learning how to control this chain of events, and when it even makes sense to do so, isn't always as clear or easy as it might seem.

My mind is full of thoughts, that's how I have represented them in rainbows. The rainbows of grey tones would indicate negative thoughts and the rainbows of bright and colourful colours would indicate positive thoughts. We can see that the biggest and most focused rainbow is the one with grey tones and almost all the other ones are colourful rainbows, here I am implying that I always give more importance to negative things and the small positive ones I almost don't notice and this is something that happens to all of us sometimes. Leaving aside the meaning of the rainbows, the drawing as you can see the face is realistically coloured and the other objects are more animated, as I wanted to separate the real from the imagination which is unreal.

This is a digital art .Our mind is how we uniquely experience life. It's responsible for how we think, feel and choose. To create a positive state of mind in negative surroundings is a tough task. But by being self motivated and by practising mindfullness meditation we can control our mind.

This is a representation of anxiety and my desire to escape anxiety. I don't often get so down that I am suicidal, but I do need the senory depervation. I cant handle confied spaces, so the idea of peacfully floating in space without any input or outputs is a comfort in dark places. I used Rebelle 6 and tried to keep the composition simple and in the style of watercolor and illustration.

The paranormal, that is anything that is beyond our reality and understanding is a topic that has no bounds. It occupies my mind, it interests me the most. Now come on, can stories and shows of Ghosts, aliens ever be boring? The fact that so much of the universe is yet unexplored is fascinating and scary. Therefore i have drawn my imaginative doodles onto paper and combined them into this template as collage form. :)

There's been a lot going on in my mind lately, but i drew this one particular common place. There can always be all kinds of moments and all kind of ideas surrounding my thoughts, but at the end of the day, i always find myself in the same place, with the same feelings.
