Claire here with another species I designed! This is a digital drawing of what I call a Gormadon. It's likeness is most like a bear, but it has spikes and frills kind of like a dragon or dinosaur. I imagine this species to be quite big if it were real. Perhaps about the size of an adult elephant. This is the result of me getting my hands on graphite powder, a fun but rather messy process.

I'm still practicing on how to consistently draw facial expressions and faces,abigail has the easiest face shape to draw,she has a round short face and round circular eyes as well has a simple hairstyle her nose however,I drew it either bigger or either smaller.

Whimsical. Fairy tale. Alter ego. Mixed media. Used real rose petals for the background. I’m not super happy with it but I’m still getting used to mixed media. I draw and paint the girl separately and then superimpose with modge podge.

She has worked hard all Autumn and now it is time for her Winter's rest. B/W line art in pen and ink on sketch paper

The fairy that helps the leaves fall in preparation for the winter. She is the first of the seasonal fairies I plan to draw!

This is a “creative color wheel” done for an art class. I took the grey way to far over for the shoulder, but other than that I don’t hate how it turned out.

Inktober, day 2: "Wisp". Brush pens and posca markers on coloured A4. This is inspired by the wisps in Ultima rpgs that I used to play as a wee bairn. That’s where I learned the word "wisp". In fact, it’s pretty much the only association I still have. ;)

What inspired me with this piece was an enchanted forest. The purple trees and pinkish leaves plus the somewhat colorful grass (capturing it with my camera was a little tough but its a mix of forest and deep green with some blue) and the shrooms made me think of a kind of air of mysticism and fantasy. The Elk is one of my favorite animals and I feel has a regal presence almost in it. I thought about adding more vegetation but I was afraid of adding too much. What do you think? ^^
