This scene was inspired by my walk home from work on Monday evening. The Moon was already high up. The weather was windy. The clouds were passing by fast, giving me a glimpse of the Moon here and there. A pretty ominous scene, if you ask me. Size: 2x2 inches.
This is Veldt a character I'll be using in DnD he is the son of a high elf and a slavic folkoric creature called a Poludnitsa or lady midday. Unlike other fairies and demons the ladies they love sunlight and heat. They are said to appear as peasant women among plumes of dust clouds carrying a scythe or shears. They are blamed for sun stroke and madness that besets field workers during the hottest of days.
This painting illustrates a man who finds safety from drowning in a stormy sea by
climbing on to a platform in shape of a cross.
The storm itself represents the trial we face in life. The shipwrecked person shows that
we have nothing we can approach God with that would sway Him to help us when we
call on Him for help.
Only out of grace and mercy does He rescue us. The platform in the shape of the cross
represents that God has provided a way for man to escape punishment for his sins,
which would have been casting him into the lake of fire after death.
Through God’s love and mercy, He punished Jesus for man’s sin; the guiltless Son of
God was punished so that the guilty sinful humans could be saved through faith.
The step represents man’s need to come to God humbly through Jesus to receive anything from God. The light breaking through the clouds represents God hearing the
man’s prayer and answering it.

Had an unfinished doodle of green trees sitting in my Procreate Gallery when I was asked to submit a Christmas card to our draw group. Some quick modifications to the green trees and the result.
The Good Shephard. I finally colored it in, added grass and clouds and stuff. Originally inspired by a picture I saw at my grandparents house. If we feel like a little black sheep at times just remember that Jesus will leave the 99 to go in search of us, no matter what our sins may be. The work was taken by me in Portland, Oregon, USA. In the distance there is a house, a pillar on top of it has a lamp, Looking up at the sky at that time, the sunset sky looked very beautiful. The clumps of clouds drifted with the wind. Beneath the waves crashing against the shore, signaling that the tide has risen, the images in the above work make people always have to worry about the images that look very eye-catching.

One of my early oils from 2017. I was still getting used to the medium. I liked how the oils worked well for the misty distant hills, and I used glazing for the first time on the clouds.
This a self portrait drawing of myself as a younger man, with a lot of shadow play on the portrait itself and a stylized background of a sky, clouds and the sun, rendered in a kind of an imaginary dream-like almost surreal scenario. Many thanks for looking.
