She was charming when I picked her to be in my drawing, but I didn't like her hair and I "knit her a sweater. She's a pen and pencil drawing.

Perchloric Acid HClO4

When I shared some work that looked like this, the response I got was, it was trippy. And instantly I thought, what a cool series to create! Thus the Acid series was born. This piece, Perchloric Acid HCLO4 is the fifth of five from that series.

American woman

Can you imagine being the first African-American woman doctor in the United States back in the 1800s? We can’t fathom it either! That’s what Dr. Rebecca Lee Crumpler had to deal with, and we can’t salute her more for that feat!

Space Cat (DTIYS)

o, the other day, I joined Artfol. While perusing my feed, there, I came across a submission for @millydoesart ‘s DTIYS and immediately decided I had to try my hand at this. It’s such a fun piece, and right up my alley (which is great, because I have been struggling artistically lately). Anyway, here is the end result. As a bonus, this only took me 5 hours! (I spent most of the time on the folds). I had a lot of fun. Thanks to @millydoesart for giving me the opportunity to try my hand at their wonderful concept

The Nose

I really hate to draw noses. For me it's always the starting point to mess up a face. As I left out facial features in most of my drawings... I have to start facing my fears.

Salvation in a Storm

This painting illustrates a man who finds safety from drowning in a stormy sea by climbing on to a platform in shape of a cross. The storm itself represents the trial we face in life. The shipwrecked person shows that we have nothing we can approach God with that would sway Him to help us when we call on Him for help. Only out of grace and mercy does He rescue us. The platform in the shape of the cross represents that God has provided a way for man to escape punishment for his sins, which would have been casting him into the lake of fire after death. Through God’s love and mercy, He punished Jesus for man’s sin; the guiltless Son of God was punished so that the guilty sinful humans could be saved through faith. The step represents man’s need to come to God humbly through Jesus to receive anything from God. The light breaking through the clouds represents God hearing the man’s prayer and answering it. Follow @thecovatar on IG and Twitter for a daily art inspiration! Her cool casual style became the thing of the portrait. Just take a look at her amazing pink hair! Unlike real life, in our portraits, the vivid hair color will never wash off Olivia’s special request was to capture her wonderful freckles, so Chimkoko did great work tried not to miss any of them. Our artists are always ready to embody your ideas into reality with an eye for detail!

Must buy more colors.

I had to improvise a bit. I found myself rummaging for colored pencils so I drew my outfit today with the ones I had. Notice that I am painting because I’m out of pencils. My oversized sweatshirt is really a periwinkle blue.
