This isn't a recent drawing, but it's an old favorite of mine. This is Venoct from a game called Yo-kai Watch. When I drew him, I tried to make him look older because I think the actual character is a kid. Anyway, thanks for checking it out!
Have been so sick lately, wish i could explain to my body what a waste of time that is. Luckily i have friends checking up on me, and they brought me all sorts of nice things: orange juice, flowers, chocolate, the largest banana i ever seen.... and then i realized i live in a city, and food delievery is an option! So four times i got the most delicious junk delivered to my door.
One of my biggest supporters and best friend passed away recently. My Grammy. My Grandpa has been gone almost 10 years now. So, in real life, whenever a blue butterfly showed up it was Grandpa coming to check on Grammy. Now, she's a butterfly going to be with him.
Claire here with another species I designed! This is a digital drawing of what I call a Gormadon. It's likeness is most like a bear, but it has spikes and frills kind of like a dragon or dinosaur. I imagine this species to be quite big if it were real. Perhaps about the size of an adult elephant. This is a drawing of a random popstar I made up. His name is Alejandro Bolvaire and he has the voice of Danny Gokey. XD (Danny Gokey is awesome -- give him a listen sometime) Anyway, Alejandro here is mostly crayon, but his hair and shades are colored with brush pens. He has an ink pen outline. Ms. Nathan was a play production teacher with flair and a big personality. She wore colorful clothing and loud socks that never matched. Her joyful, chortling laugh filled the room—or the hallway—wherever she happened to be.
Staff meetings and PD days have always been strong invitations for observational drawings. Over the years, I’ve found that there are many boxes to check in a wide variety of systems. I often created my own boxes—and checked them with sketches of my colleagues.
