I created this image 1 year ago with a web application that I developed, there is no message, I just find it intriguing.

It's Our Lady of Amercia! It's one of my favorite devotions to Our Blessed Mama in Christ. She called the United States to Purity and a good Family life. The messages also focused on a devotion to the Holy Family (Earthly Trinity) and a focus on the Trinitarian Indwelling (Since the Holy Spirit cannot be separated from the Father and the Son it goes to show that the whole Trinity has a part in our interior life). I made this with watercolor, a touch of white/tan acrylics and a lil black pen dab for the pupils. It may be a surprise, but I am only now reading 1st book on UFOs ( I have been mostly interested in aliens as fiction or in ttRPGs). I just learned about the Arecibo Message. Frank Drake sent a message of 1679 bits to his fellow UFO friends and said that this was a mathematical message he wanted to send to the aliens. While not all cultures share language, we all share math. To test if it was decode-able, he asked them to figure out what it meant with no other context. They failed. So he sent it to more UFO friends. They failed, too. So he put it in a decoder magazine and got exactly one correct answer from an electrician. 1679 is the product of two semi-prime numbers, which should get you to realize it’s a 23 *73 picture. Bu needless to say if the interpretation rate was that low amongst earthlings, the hopes for alien communication seemed dim. Especially since the message will take 25K years to arrive. But we do have C’therax and Friends’ take above – admittedly the DNA double helix (blue) does look like a butterflyish thing.

Sometimes love is messy.

Revisiting something untouched for a long time. The vibes have not changed, but the design concept did. The paper is very messy, because of many, many, random sketches trying to... find something. Something came to my mind suddenly, to remove nearly all the details and changed the eye design. Suddenly, everything snapped into place and the character came to life, again. The eyes are indeed the windows to the soul, huh?

The form of Martial Arts introduced by Bruce Lee embraces `being formless’ as a central idea. Sharing this belief, my works do not start with an intention of what to make, but rather the process is to follow-through to what the works wish to become. In Jeet Kun To, the practice is to `be water’, to react and to blend. Instead of following the artist’s desire to direct the brush, I enhance, without an intention to change or render. The composition dropped from elsewhere as a message and is polished to shine.

It’s messy, but i’m trying to do new things in my sketchbook and not worry about how “good” it looks. Im trying out new hair styles/looks and i’m working on a medium i don’t use a lot anymore (markers). I also decided to start shading using a blue and i think i really like that and will do it more often.
