One day I was flipping through Frrank frazetta art book I had and one of his painting inspired me, so I close the book and started to draw and this image came about. This is the second lino cut print I made using motifs from my surroundings here in Vienna, Austria. I enjoyed learning this when I was in Art College in Australia back in the day and my passion is now re emerging for it.
Another piece from my vernal pools/treescapes studies I have been working on in correlation to my interest in local creature found in our woodlands.
I adopted the use of a circle one night, wanting to frame out an idea/sketch and a wine glass happened to be close by. Since then I have used it often, loving the circle aspect.
I love the versatility of acrylic paint. You can change the consistency by adding water or acrylic mediums. These additions enable artists to create transparent glazes or thick impasto textures. The fast-drying nature of acrylics makes it easier to correct mistakes or make alterations during the painting process. This painting is part of a three piece set featuring my favorite plants painted on a soft gradient background.

Apologies for the super dull drawing,I can't seem to make up my mind if I want to keep painting or draw digitally,it's almost like a mini art block.I dreamed of a candy person and decided he would be pink instead because pink can be a fun color to use even though I dislike it.He's a marshmellow,a pink one.

Was initially going to try coffee painting with this one, but that clearly wasn’t happening...
Hence the mentioning of divorce here, it being my expectations being split from the reality this time around. Still, things worked out in the end!
