I have been teaching myself stippling. This is a work in progress on a birch tree bark. I've always admired birches and have strong childhood connections with them. I am a keeper of some very fond memories of our summer house and three beautiful big birch trees in the yard. I could sit under them for hours: watching the delicate leaves dance in the summer breeze; watching them turn golden during autumn; feeling my way around on their uneven bark full of valleys and crevices.

„Sweet cakes and milkshakes“ this line is a part of the poem from the film „Before sunrise“. Celine and Jesse met in the train to Paris. Then they decided to switch up their plans. This was an exercise in taking a photo that was quite dark and foreboding and turning it into a happy looking illustration. I'm slowly getting my head around how to make my work look like illustration instead of "fine art". This is watercolour and colour pencil.
I loved and love just putting down color. This is from November 2019. That is one way to use the acrylic paint when you poured to much onto your palette.
Done 2022 with color pencil on 11 x17 bristol paper. Of course he is one of classic D&D video game and also board game as well enemy. so her eis my try on it.
