Starring Joy Division: Radio, Live Transmission (1979). Let me tell you a story about dancing to the radio to escape the day. About the feeling that "no language, just sound, that's all we need know, to synchronise". About media enriching your life. About media invading your life. Tricolor linoprint using one lino plate. Finally started back on a regular sketch schedule. Once a week on Thursdays, and I really look forward to it. I tried to tone down the orange marker with brown ink, but no luck. It really was a bright and sunny fence, though.
When I was a kid, I used to draw nonstop. As I got older, I got harder on myself. Now I only draw when I think I can make something big of whatever I'm doodling. I want to go back to the way I was before,
He loses himself in his own fur, when he’s utterly relaxed. Touch that fluffy belly so casually exposed, though, and you’re likely to get punctured. He doesn’t know he’s irresistibly soft.
Hi! I'm new to the site, now will be getting accustomed to it, and I'll start by posting some drawings of my OC Elory here. And yeah, my style is pretty inconsistent as I'm constantly experimenting
Second post here on Doodle Addict. I don't know why but this reminds me of Spirited away....or just studio Ghibli. All their art just makes me feel like i'm actually in that place; i can feel the breeze, hear and feel the grass.....Anyways, that's the image i get in my head when making this. Feel free to give feedback or comment on my art, i would appreciate it!
I let the chickens and the roosters out to have their daily walk. I need to keep an eye on them, there might be foxes around. The raspberries had ripened, and needed to be collected before they rotted on the branch. The stork flew by, and sat on the roof of the abandoned house nearby. The storks live next-doors, quite lovely neighbors. He was watching the chickens with me.
This is part of my daily Sketchgrind day 22. Well, I wasn't eating my lemons and now I am infected... Remember prevention is better than the cure - keep healthy and have some lemons.
I needed to practice some techniques for some Star Wars prints, so I decided I was going to try to draw The Joker in a more modern tux. Don’t ask, it makes sense in my head. There are a bunch of anatomical errors in this, but it did its job so I'm not too worried about it.
Our Dining Room is my favorite room in the house. Every family meal we eat at home happens there - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meal times are our sacred family time to share our day, our thoughts, our struggles, our successes, etc. We do have a breakfast area. But aside from homework, projects, or reading the newspaper, the breakfast area doesn't get much use unless needed for overflow from the dining room when we have visitors.
Work in progress. I've always been fascinated by the poison dart frog. It is as ferociously cute as it is poisonous ;). View all my work on Instragram: @CritiQ
