One day I was watching Aliens, Predator ,and AVP things and It just make me get so inspired. I love those franchise to start with ,but gosh getting exposed to those franchises again just pouring art juice on me to get me so inspired to create as you this art piece. I wanted to have minime alien coming out of adult aline chest instead of cliche baby alien coming to make it different than what people expect. I just wish I had Artist grade color pencils instead of student grade I used on my color pencil art pieces, but soon or later I want to get artists quality color pencils. I am dying to try Polychronos color pencils. It is oil based color pencils. I been using wax based,but polychronos are expensive even more so than Prismacolors. If i want to save money and i gotten this brand before . It is Staedler triangle coloe pencils. They sell this stadeler color pencils of 48 colors for $13 at walmart.com. I might get that one I dunno. I do wana get Polychronos if not prismacolor but anyways Here is the art work using shitty color pencils. It seems like this scan looks better than my originals cuz i scan it and bring it to Photo impression software that came with the scanner to boost a bit of contrast cuz if u did not know student grade color pencils have less pigementations and more white fillers so u cannot make dark really nice dark or hightlight really nice strong highlight like artist quality color pencils can bring. Long time ago I bought these 80's Marvel universe official handbook from Clifton comic con in NJ. It is small con where itis held in small gymnasium and admission fee is free. One of the comic book vendor was selling these offical handbook 2 for 50 cents so I bought a stack of them. I can't draw guns lol,Ruthleen is a 30 year old crime lord who is in charge of exporting illegal firearms throughout various cities,she also launders lots of money along with her partner in crime Parslip longstem who's a parsnip vegetable.Both bring in millions of dollars in illegal activity.they are wanted for their crimes,Ruthleen and Parslip have a mutual relationship with Taffeliers who is a moody drug lord.Ruthleen came from a poor,dangerous neighboorhood and was raised by a single mother which shaped most of her personality,cold and restrained.

This is a rendition of a drawing that I did for my mother when I was young. I wanted to redo it to see how it would turn out. I also decided to do it in water color since I have recently been getting very interested in watercolor.

Just wanted to draw something in between sessions working on Finals. Done in Photoshop CC 2020 with a Noise brush which works nicely like charcoal which I'm used to.

Recently re-watched.....a....certain...movie.....and felt persuaded to do this. I really liked the art style (not that i could do it myself) and wanted to try it in my own way. If you know what movie i'm talking about then feel free to comment it; i'm interested to see how many there are. Also, i would love some feedback on my art, this is the first one i've done with words in it sooo hopefully it "works".

I wanted to create something playful that aligned with a verse I really liked after reading about the Mother Nature challenge. I decided to play around with some water color and create funky patterns with double ended brush pens and voila! Fun art that brings a smile to my face. I hope you enjoy! Take care, Elena
