I truly died drawing this. And while I died, I kept adding and adding grrrr. Anyway, my new version of the goddess of nature that I did in 2014. But wanted to be truly different. The 2014 version had no flowers and was a full tree. Now she has ‘hair’ .

I decided to practice posing with a character that has a certain style. I also wanted to test a design for my artist logo. I will definitely be making a digital version of this character in the near future. Colored with Artify alcohol-based markers, and a white Gellyroll pen for highlights.
So I wanted to play with lights and shadows with this piece. (sorry I literally could not figure out how to set post it straight and I tried all I could think of, it didn's work out. Please if you have the same problem and you know how to solve it tell me, thank you).

Today was actually such a pleasant morning! ✨ I woke up at 5 am (instead of the usual 8 am) and used the extra 3 hours for myself~ I did some sketches, wrote a page in my journal and then drew some flowers. Which led me to this, again another flower shop. First I wanted to do a night version of my older piece but soon realized it looks bad. So drew this one instead. The story continues.
When I was planning this pattern I really wanted it to have a dark background. I built it in photoshop using hand drawn marker flowers but when I try to place them on a dark background it looks ridiculous!
A recent commission from a patron of mine. They have weekly game #DungeonsAndDragons game nights and wanted all of their original thought up characters in a group shot. I was happy to oblige -- this was both a challenge and so much fun! A total of 13 characters was done, in about 2 1/2 weeks time!
In wanting to get active with my fellow doodler community, I wanted to stop in and introduce myself. My name is Dalton Stark, I live in Texas, and i'm a doodle addict, and an advocate for the possibility of anything. For me, doodling is my purest state of being human. My sketchbooks are a very sacred place for me to practice this expressive and arcane form of imagination meditation, which I'm always trying to find more excuses to spend more time in. It is to me, all about intuition, making discoveries, surprising yourself, having fun and maybe even making yourself and others smile or laugh sometimes. I'm not completely happy with the coloring on this, so I might redo it later. I really wanted to take my hand at the more colorful old comic style for Two Face, but I'm terrible at working with pinks.
I wanted to try and do a digital piece of a ferret and incorporate winter clothes while using a limited palette I found on Adobe Draw. This was a lot of fun!
Older picture I've done. At that time I wasn't used to using references, but instead I did everything from my head, as I imagined them. And this time I wanted to create a lonely arctic fox with a warmer atmosphere surrounding the animal.
