I was able to find 6b and 8b 2mm leads. So I bought 2 more NIC PRO 2 mm lead holders. They arrived from Amazon today. I wanted to add more tonal depth...but I am not too sure it worked out the way I thought it would. I still need to tighten things up.

Normally i start w an idea or whim & doodle away trying to capture my thots. On this one i simply scribbled onto a page & then looked hard for shapes, animals, faces & any other unorthodox item. Then i simply added some color. I plan to do more of these mostly as a gr8 exercise for fresh runaway doodles hot off the press!

I really enjoyed the Inktober challenge and this was my favorite drawing from the month. Been trying white ink for a new challenge, on grey toned paper. I've also challenged myself to draw more animals, so that's been fun. I can't remember drawing an elephant before, but my joke was that this one is ready for Coachella!

Was listening to an old favourite of mine’s earlier, namely Duke by Genesis! And so I opted to recreate the album cover (one of their best in my opinion)

A wild a drew following a tutorial on YouTube by Captioning Club How To Draw. Proportions are way off but I learned a lot.

The vibrant, verdant jungle of Panama is what inspired this latest piece. Posca acrylic paint markers on custom 3" x 2.75" tiny frog-shaped canvas.

The tiny hex cutouts of this canvas were the inspiration for the turtle, and I chose to put it on a beach as the perfect excuse to have more fun with texture medium! Acrylic on custom 4" x 3.5" hexagon canvas.

This is one of my first, and best pieces of digital art to-date. I created it using Procreate, inspired by my love of wolves, and Northern landscapes more generally.

Saw this hippo on the train and was in awe. So I drew her.

The implementation of the project for the Akademos kindergarten in Poznań has ended. The idea behind the project was to create a jungle staircase in which children will be able to cover something new every day while walking down the corridor. Many animals, reptiles and insects are hidden in the thicket of plants. So that the number of details and small elements does not overwhelm the space, we used a black and white combination with small colorful accents, which are also to stimulate the imagination of children. Realistically painted birds are an additional decorative element, which can be a background for photo sessions.
