Inspired by Charles Dana Gibson’s “Woman: The Eternal Question” (supposedly a drawing of his muse Evelyn Nesbit). I’ve always loved Gibson’s loose, graphical penwork. This is the first prompt for Inktober 2020 (FISH). I used a Pigma micron .005 pen to do the black and white drawing. The colored version is tinted with Photoshop. I might print this out and try some other color combinations for fun.

Everyday with Aspergers is a storm of overwhelm - some good, some bad, and some painful. This was an "intuitive" painting with tons of layers, and no preplanning (what?!). I used acrylic paints, post markers, and pencils - I think it shows the exhaustion and overstimulation really well.

The raven familiar sat atop Florien's head making a mess of his braids. Weaving herself a new nest, she pulled a long strand free from a loooping braid her gleaming beak tucking it into a place that she deemed appropriate. She watched the snowy landscape alert to danger as she worked.
