This painting is a technique I enjoy mostly because I see figures in the ordinary and draw them out from what I see in abstract backgrounds I paint. In it you see a group of people enjoying time together. I used Acrylics on Aquaboard, a surface especially made for many layers of wet media.

I love to listen lectures of charismatic lovers of philosophy, design, music, human psychology and I enjoy the excitement it brings and the birth of new layers inside me. I rarely manage to silence my inner critic and for many years I have been learning how to be able to do it productively. I am still in the process though. I treat my life as a long voyage, changing directions and yes - sometimes those around me. I understand that even 24 hours a day is not enough and I definitely realize that my life today is much more colorful and interesting than when I was 20 years old.

Class assignment: draw a crowd with layers and overlapping. I took this class because it is my artist heart's desire to capture people in real life action. We did learn a technique for that, but we did it from video. It was so stressful, and I'm considering practicing that 10 min a day for Lent. This one was a compilation from photos my teacher provided. What are your tips for capturing people in action? For me, the challenge was deciding what the action was. I kept changing the action as I saw it because it is SO FAST. I felt like I couldn't "see" fast enough.
Going through a mental health journey, and created this fella. This is not the complete image, he will have bat wings and devil horns. I just hit a small wall with some of the layers. This is watercolor using the negative painting technique where you paint around your subject using multiple layers which creates depth. This has greater than 8 layers of watercolor washed around the tree shapes
Capturing the spaces in between and amplifying them with a play on exposure and contrast to bring forth the beauty I see within the layers. This particular play is a flower I saved from a very special event I attended. I then dried the petals of this beauty. These special petals make their way to various projects, including oil and acrylic paintings and resin on canvas. More to come :)
This is a digital drawing of a magical unicorn. I was inspired to draw this after seeing a cool looking unicorn in an app. The body, mane, and tail are all separate layers.
We were having a thunder storm, so I figured I’d do a sketch waiting for my markers to get here. I ended up getting carried away and inking it right away. I put a few layers of fixatif on it, and I'm hoping that'll stop the paint/ink from bleeding too much when I apply the markers.
Just 5 layers to get something out there. Sorry again for not posting but I have been working on non virtual paintings and customs. So back to the art. This is just a fox oc that I call Lukki (lucky) so yknow. I have no clue what im talking about. Okay so question. Should I do a free to use base for you guys to use or just do more art?
