This prequel, it is revealed that the Cârța Monastery was built somewhere in Romania by a duke centuries ago. Becoming obsessed with dark magic and Satanism, the Duke attempts to summon a demonic force from the catacombs only to be killed by the members of the Vatican who then sealed the rift with the Blood of Christ. Hundreds of years later, the monastery was bombed heavily during the events of World War II, releasing the same evil spirit from its imprisonment. The demon had since taken the form of a nun as a means of blending with the other nuns as well as to mock their faith. Throughout the years, nuns continuously prayed in communion to combat the evil, but in vain as the demonic entity walked freely around the monastery all nights, in the form of a nun to mock their faith. In 1952, Valak had slain several of the nuns, leaving only two survivors. Sister Victoria, with a key in hand, commits suicide in order to prevent Valak from claiming her as a host. Sometime after her death, the Vatican tasks Burke and Sister Irene to investigate. Valak manipulates the characters throughout the film ranging from creating mass illusions with the ghosts of the slain nuns to weaken Sister Irene and tormenting Father Burke by taking the form of a young boy who had died from a botched exorcism at his hands. While inspecting her for any vital signs, Sister Irene spits the Blood of Christ onto Valak, burning it severely. The rift is then resealed. However, this would prove to not be the end of the Demon Nun as when the group was leaving, Frenchie, a French Canadian otherwise known as Maurice is revealed to have an inverse cross branded on the back of his neck. This segues to the original Conjuring film during a lesson the Warrens were giving about demonic possession. Just a simple little mandala doodle drawing I drew this morning.... getting better a doodle at a time!! Hope to draw better more complex and more evenly spaced out designs in the future. I am a completely self-taught artist who is not at all naturally talented in drawing or any art medium for that matter but am learning and praticing and getting better daily. My advice is if you are a beginner or aren't naturally blessed artistically but have the passion creative mindset and desire to become good at art then keep going keep on praticing and learning from those before you and I promise you will get better and eventually great! YOU ARE AN ARTIST!!

It’s true!

This is a old fanart I did for a flash player game called Sunny Day Sky. The game doesn't work anymore, but I loved playing it so much. One day I want to color this with watercolors.

Day 2: Scurry OMG!! WHY IS SOMETHING SO CUTE SOO HARD TO DRAW!! I have gone through most likely 10 sheets of practice paper to get these guys and i still think i could’ve done better. I chose rabbits cause it was more then obvious with the word. Scurry, means to run quickly and who can do that better than rabbits.

Too much of anything is bad but I want more.

Finally had a chance today to put more time into a piece.

I want the composition to be thoughtful but on the sad side. My skill practice was brush strokes and blending (but not overdoing the blending) as I try to figure out how I stylize as an artist. Still working in the realm of realism and proportions as I am a newbie, but wanna flex into stylization a bit more. I did this through Rebelle 5, which is absolutely amazing, IMO.

Wake up your creativity! Take a piece of paper, something to write on, and draw a few lines/circles/squiggles. Then more and more, and so on... Let your imagination run wild. You can create something beautiful out of nothing.

Do you have your own workspace? Lucky you. So am I too :) Remember: surrounding yourself with positive things gives you energy. And one more thing: less is more :)

I told myself, weeks ago that i would be post two or three times a week but here I am posting after a month of nothing. I have been painting alot more, but i finally completed something and am ready to post it. I decided flowers because i like flowers. I did a life vs. death kind of thing. I was hesitant about painting these because i was thinking to myself do i like flowers because i like them or because im a women and society norms tell me to? I know it sounds stupid but its these kind of thoughts that stop me from doing things i enjoy or want to do in life. Thoughts?

My name is Jenny Lebedev. I am a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator, Making painting on canvas and digital platform, video, photography, drawing. Graduate of the Department of Multidisciplinary Art at Shenkar. I recently finished illustrating the second children's book. I also accept commission projects and work with the client in close communication. I make digital art work for postcards, prints, incl. producing prints. In the field of art I deal with conceptual art on the topics of "nothingness" and the existing emptiness, awareness of the air. When I was a little girl I was drawing postcards and during holidays I was selling them to the neighbors for half a shekel. At home my family always appreciated my creativity. Because of this when I moved to Israel, I decided on an art degree where I had the freedom to try different kinds of art. I became a painter and my final exhibition at Shenkar College was a plumbing work with sculpture and dio. Nowadays I am more involved in digital painting and specializing mainly in illustration and design. I take my inspiration from nature because it has an amazing integrity. But of course a simple emphasis will make most people notice it better.

I got a new app to draw now and had some more Experience now! Should I start drawing now?

Take it how you want. You either give everything to social media, or it takes everything from you. In the end, you are left naked and hollow. I wanted to make this a simple composition at its core. The image is more about the message. Times Square took forever to put together, I think the perspective is off just a bit. Overall, I think I did well with shading and depth. I am also improving on drawing/painting the human form. I wish I could trust in shapes and form and go a bit more abstract, but I think that will come with experience.

This is my OC Scarlet when she is in college. Yes she definitely grew out her hair and looks more tired but she is in college. Im still taking up drawing tips from anyone.

Before I got into digital painting, I was putting together digital collages. I love digital collages, but most of them are a bit too literal/pop art for me. No diss on pop art; I create a lot in that style. But, I wanted to make a smoother, more blended collage for my profile pic.

Bee populations are rapidly declining around the world and there are many reasons to save the bees, but here are three of the most important: 1. Bees play a crucial role in our ecosystem. They help pollinate plants, which is necessary for us and other animals to survive. If there were no bees, we would lose many types of fruits and vegetables. 2. Bees also play an important role in our economy. Honey is a popular sweetener, and bee pollen is used as a dietary supplement. There are also many products that use beeswax as an ingredient. All of these products would be more expensive without the work of bees. 3. Finally, it’s simply important to protect all forms of life on Earth. We need to do everything we can to make sure that future generations will be able to enjoy nature’s beauty and bounty just as much as we do today.
