King of the rot King of decay Worlds will end, upon his say King of the rot King of decay Is all you bring, just misery? Upon my cries i heard him say “Yes its true, I’m father to dismay” “Loathe me, hate my ways” “But look beyond the death” “You find in my wake” “I may swallow life” “I may bring pain” “But how beautiful is the rose that blooms on the grave?” “How soft to the touch is the grass, after the rain?” “I am the king of rot” “I am the king of decay” “But i also bring new life to the day” #embracingnightmares

A little matchbox painting

A suit I designed for a fantasy SWAT (TSWATT, or the Taured Special Weapons And Tactics Team). They have wings which can fold into themselves, so far that they cannot be seen unless you look behind the back. They have special long fall boots (sort of like the ones from Portal) that allow them to fall from great heights. They have special glass goggles that act as sort of a VR set, in which they can see through smoke and walls if the area they are in is mapped out. The little orange thing on their chest records everything they witness. Drawn with FireAlpaca.

Painted with liquid watercolours and coloured pencil in my A5 Daler Rowney Sketchbook.

Bristol rooftops

A pair of skeletons, dressed in formal attire, are engaged in a lively dance, with the phrase "RATTLE MY BONES" beneath them. The female skeleton wears a long dress adorned with flowers, while the male skeleton sports a suit and hat. a cute and whimsical Halloween illustration.

I figured it'd be a while until I draw (in full detail) ALL of the Altitone band members, so I made each one a sprite. Their names are (from left to right): (The first one is a base), Elizabeth the hot pink cat, Preistor the sky blue rabbit, Altor the golden bear, Bruce the green mouse, Lexibo the violet elephant, Mary the short red fox, Dexter the blue-gray Racoon DJ, and the three cheerleaders: Rosette the crimson mouse, Oopsie the russet fox, and Pastelle the cotton candy short-eared rabbit. On the very bottom are the instruments. In order, they are Elizabeth's mic, Preistor's guitar, Altor's drum set, Bruce's mic, Lexibo's piano, Mary's oil drum (not an instrument, but Mary hides her bottom half in the oil drum, sort of like Looney Bird from The Rock-afire Explosion (which is why she has no legs)), and Dexter's DJ board. The last three are cheerleaders, and their hands have been replaced with cheerleading pom poms. On stage left, we have Dexter and Mary. On the center stage, we have Preistor, Altor, Lexibo, Elizabeth, and Bruce. On stage right is Rosette, Oopsie, and Pastelle. Made with Piskel. (If you're wondering where Jester and Dellusion are, they aren't band members --- but rather seperate attractions (and Jester doesn't even perform.))

... what it looks like inside of my head

If time cost flesh If life is boundless Then where will my hours take me I want with desires I wish like a liar Chasing the rabbit timidly When im asleep My dreams are whats deep I drown in seas of maybes How do i rise How do i reach skies When emotions and plans limit me I grovel an weep Cause i put dreams out of reach But i want to engage the maybes So instead of the plots And sitting on thoughts Its time to embrace the daydreams I wont cower to dreams I’ll capture a scheme And nurture the life of maybes -#embracingnightmares

This is a commissioned doodle illustrating someone’s dreams. This was drawn with a fineliner on A1 paper with no pencilling or pre-planning. As you can tell!

Remember when I said Timothy T Cup would get revenge every now and then? Well, he specializes in zombies. Plus he's getting back at Ms.Chalice for posessing him. (See Drawtober23 Day 10 "Posession") Also as some trivia. Tje zombie clown is actually an amalgamation of Beppi the Clown's concept designs from "The Art of Cuphead"book.

I've always loved drawing on various objects! This coffee-lid is from several years ago but I still love it and have it hanging on the bulletin board near my art desk.

Howcome ghosts only wear white sheets? A group of whimsical, colorful ghosts fills the space, Each figure is unique, featuring different patterns and hues that provide a playful and vibrant contrast. The overall effect is lively and imaginative, evoking a sense of fun and mystery.

The first day of Facetober, a drawing challenge on Instagram.

This is my contribution to a Diversity and Unity Mural. The meaning behind it is how we are all different and have our own backgrounds, but we're all connected to each other like the roots show. We are stronger unified, and our progression in making the world a better place is like this plant, it can only grow with care and under the right conditions. Together we can make a better future, while still keeping our roots because of their importance to our identities.

Oh well, just a fun doodle. Ocean theme I guess.

Years ago, while digging through old journals and sketches, I stumbled across a quick, scribbled drawing of two pears. Beneath it, I'd written a raw and honest note: "Ann is pissed. I think it's because she's uncertain about me, us, life itself. She just ran into my car with the van. She says it was an accident, but she seems happier now—almost like it was cathartic. . . Like sex." At the time, I scribbled this in frustration, feeling a deep disconnect between us. Intimacy had become a confusing and distant concept in our relationship. The pears I'd sketched were rough and scratchy, charged with my chaotic feelings. Looking back, I see how emotions can drive us to strange actions, some intentional, some accidental, often leaving us oddly relieved afterward. Humans are complex, fascinating beings, navigating messy emotions and messy relationships, sometimes colliding intentionally or unintentionally, seeking relief in unexpected ways. Perhaps the pears were my subconscious pun on "pair," reflecting the awkward, confusing way Ann and I were bumping through life together—making messes, but occasionally finding strange humor and genuine catharsis in the chaos. I've learned to smile gently at the rawness of our humanity, appreciating even our scratchy sketches and emotional collisions. They're reminders that life, relationships, and our own hearts are never simple, but they're authentically human. Here's to embracing life's unexpected catharsis and finding humor in our imperfections.
