This is a Yuri on Ice fanart I did for a big bang on tumblr. My partner left halfway, but it was fun!
I kept imagining her instead of drawing her down. Seraphina Belphoebe Harbinger has a loving big family and friends but they are not essential to the story I plan to use her in, Originally her design was similar to a Summer palette of Princess Peach but after multiple changes to my art style, this is her current look. Rose was originally the name I gave her and then I renamed her as Cossette but given the story I planned for her to be in she'll be nicknamed "Sera". I wanted for a look to be close to being an ideal homemaker like her mother. She's very friendly, innocent and naive. She's meant to be a character that doesn't belong in an environment she's forced to survive in
My biggest fear. My biggest fear is not the dark alleys I walk at night, the demons in my nightmares, the rise in knife and gun crime or terror attacks. My fear is like the people of troy bringing something in and it turning out to be something else than what I thought it to be. Sometimes it takes punching a hole in reality and a gallon of tears to realise you were wrong and fooled.

Soft Pastel. My studio is in a converted church with big GotHic windows. In the morning the sunlight streams in createing beautiful shapes on the studio furniture rolls of paper and general studio detritus.
This came about from a doodle. Doodling is a combination of skilled scribbling, mindless direction & abstract tracing. Doodling [For Me] is not sketching someone's portrait or rendering a photo. It's freely skating w a pencil or pen along a drawing surface & searching for discoveries & different unusual paths that some how result in some lovely surprises. So here ye go. This is my jumbled take on Alice in Wonderland. Just kind of a big chaotic mess but whimsical and silly all in one. There are aspects of my favorite things everywhere...

A bit on the rough side right now, since I'm just getting started (again) on watercolours. I've never painted this loosely before so this is a big step for me. Maybe I'll try a selfie again in a few months to see how I've progressed.
