This was a gift for a special colleague who had already worked at my school for more than 20 years. I painted her with gouache and especially her blond hair gave me a headache. I‘ve never worked with this paint before. In the background I used special paper, charcoal and acrylic markers. Inside the card is a poem about her.
As above so below... I drew this purple tree with Arteza colouring pencils, blended with pencil blending medium. A5 format, grey Fabriano pastel paper.
One day, in the afternoon she was sitting on that seat with a thin heart. She was feeling watercolor with full brightness hitting her soul slowly. In her heart said, "what was I do? Everything is very simple, just follow the truth about my life. But, I can't do it and back anymore".
