We are back to school. A doodle I did in class. It’s all the things that has happened. Also things that happened in class. Like the halo. Inspired by the the Beyoncé song.
Ah yes, this... It all started two weeks ago when my mom said I could buy this pumpkin if I could carry it, and I did. All 50lbs of it. I kind of had an idea going into this, it got thrown out the window as soon as I started. 6 hours later I present this creature to you.
This week has been dedicated mainly to creating a birthday gift for my other coach (Happy 31st B-day!!). I won't ramble on for too long, but I'm so extremely lucky to have him as a coach and in my life. I can't thank him enough for all the times he's caught me/saved me from wiping out, and for being someone I can genuinely trust. Thank you to him for making the gym a safe space for me, and for letting me open up. Anyway, I really enjoyed making this, though I can't deny I got stuck (idea wise) at one point.

I actually don't remember why I made the kitty six limbed, but hey, I'm not surprised by myself. Whenever I’m channel surfing, I often find myself stumbling into a film midway through it’s running time, and tend to stick around if there’s elements that pique my curiosity and just catch my eye etc. My Girl 2, of all films, was one of them this time around.
A line about “barbaric customs” or roundabouts prompted me to pick up my drawing kit...and here we are!
When I moved into my first apartment, I knew I wanted to create my own wall art. So like any Potterhead artist, I binged Harry Potter movies and painted for many hours straight. This painting is part of a three piece set featuring my favorite plants painted on a soft gradient background. This 8”x10” acrylic painting is made on pre-stretched canvas.
