The Mother Nature Drawing Challenge

For this drawing challenge, Doodle Addicts has joined forces with Adobe Stock, the Mother of creative solutions, to bring one lucky winner a free year of Adobe Creative Cloud. If surfing the web is where you find your inspiration, discover a huge variety of greenery with the Adobe Stock library. Any type of plants, flowers, forests, mountains, trees, or natural landscapes will do – Just grab your sketchbook or iPad, let your creativity blossom, and submit your illustration for a chance to win.

* This challenge is Part 1/3 of the Doodle Addicts x Adobe Stock Partnership. Participate in all three for a chance to win the Grand Prize Pack!

this is the recent drawing I did inspired by the rising temperatures on this beautiful home - earth. I live in Hawaii and due to warmer waters around the islands we just recently had a super storm headed our way. Luckily it did not make direct landfall but to experience these changes also the constant lavaflow on the big island make it very feelable how hot it has gotten. Also it is an pulsating pumping organism our heart our mother. (I used red paint, printed parts in white to resemble the fleeting waters/clouds and then worked over it with black ink) Handmade hardly any digital manipulation. The drawing is on paper and 22x15,5 inches in size. Mahalo and best wishes ::anika::

The figure represents Mother Nature, who is reminding people to care for our natural surroundings. I also painted the figure using a drawing technique I’ve enjoyed for many years. ~ Adriana J. This is my digital drawing called kingfisher, I’m entering in hope that I win as I am going to be starting a foundation year in art in a couple of weeks which I’m super excited for, I was born and raised in the UK and I am looking at getting an iPad Pro for when I start my foundation year to help my art get better, if I won this competition then I can use the money that I’ve spent on getting a specialist printer and cricut machine (the next things in my wish list) to again further the things that I can do and produce! Good luck to all the people that have entered!

"Mother Nature's Bounty" is a digital collage blend of hand drawing and computerized layers in Photoshop. Micron inks, and Tombow watercolor markers were used to color the original drawing. Layers were digitized from original photographs of flowers and a background of dyed fabric. Mother Nature has many layers and colors that are a moment in time.

I really like drawing trees and one day, after sitting down in a cafe with a coffee, I drew this one. After the tree was done, I thought it needed a human touch so I added a boy flipping through a book and then a furry dog. It took about 4.5 hours in total. Drawn with a black pilot pen and fountain pen.

I drew this because I think bees are amazing animals. They accomplish so much in so little time and their honey is such an amazing source of nutrition and it’s also antiseptic. Is humans have a lot to thank them for. But the problem is they’re disappearing. This summer, I have only seen 2 bees! It is alarming that each day there are less and less bees in the planet. That is the reason I want to encourage people to plant more wild flowers and to do everything possible to get these wonderful animals back. I hope people find my work interesting and aesthetic. This would be my first contest ever! I am so excited and inspired at the same time. Thanks!
