Cancer Awareness Month

Megan reminds us that no matter the struggle, there is always good to be found. Imagine surviving cancer as many times as she has and still being so strong. Her selfless attitude is truly inspirational, and we hope that people will take it to heart and be inspired by her strength.

Space the final frontier

Acrylic on canvas 41x33 de cm - “Today, we are still fascinated by space and the idea of space travel. Space continues to represent a new frontier for mankind, fascinating and scaring us in equal measure. We continue to push the boundaries of our knowledge, awaiting the day when travel into space is as open and accessible as air travel.“

This is one of the planets I made on the front of my galaxy painting, finally came around to painting on it here. Each planet is going to be completely different from each other because I wanna try out new different things and then we’ll see what the end result is.

Sulphuric Acid H2SO4

When I shared some work that looked like this, the response I got was, it was trippy. And instantly I thought, what a cool series to create! Thus the Acid series was born. This piece, Sulphuric Acid H2SO4 is the first of five from that series.

Space Cat (DTIYS)

o, the other day, I joined Artfol. While perusing my feed, there, I came across a submission for @millydoesart ‘s DTIYS and immediately decided I had to try my hand at this. It’s such a fun piece, and right up my alley (which is great, because I have been struggling artistically lately). Anyway, here is the end result. As a bonus, this only took me 5 hours! (I spent most of the time on the folds). I had a lot of fun. Thanks to @millydoesart for giving me the opportunity to try my hand at their wonderful concept

An automatic drawing, everything is out of my head with only the briefest idea of a story line. I played around with shapes and lines and shading to see what affect would result. It was fun, but time consuming.

Salvation in a Storm

This painting illustrates a man who finds safety from drowning in a stormy sea by climbing on to a platform in shape of a cross. The storm itself represents the trial we face in life. The shipwrecked person shows that we have nothing we can approach God with that would sway Him to help us when we call on Him for help. Only out of grace and mercy does He rescue us. The platform in the shape of the cross represents that God has provided a way for man to escape punishment for his sins, which would have been casting him into the lake of fire after death. Through God’s love and mercy, He punished Jesus for man’s sin; the guiltless Son of God was punished so that the guilty sinful humans could be saved through faith. The step represents man’s need to come to God humbly through Jesus to receive anything from God. The light breaking through the clouds represents God hearing the man’s prayer and answering it. Lovely Olivia by Chimkoko

Follow @thecovatar on IG and Twitter for a daily art inspiration! Her cool casual style became the thing of the portrait. Just take a look at her amazing pink hair! Unlike real life, in our portraits, the vivid hair color will never wash off Olivia’s special request was to capture her wonderful freckles, so Chimkoko did great work tried not to miss any of them. Our artists are always ready to embody your ideas into reality with an eye for detail!
